Standby & Prime Power

Anyone can sell you a generator. The question is who answers at 2am.

A generator is bought in an afternoon and lived with for fifteen years. What decides whether that was a good purchase isn’t the discount on the invoice — it’s whether the right part is on a shelf in Dhaka when the set won’t start, and whether a technician who knows that engine picks up the phone.

We sell generators, and we stay attached to them: correct sizing before the sale, installation and commissioning under load, genuine parts stocked locally, and a service team you can reach.

What we supply and service

Eight scopes covering the whole life of the set — from sizing it correctly to keeping it running fifteen years later.

Diesel generator sets

[X]–[X] kVA standby and prime-rated sets for factories, commercial buildings, hospitals and institutions.

Load assessment & sizing

Connected-load survey, starting-current analysis and step-load assessment — sized to what you actually run.

Installation & commissioning

Foundation and plant-room coordination, cabling, exhaust and cooling, fuel system, and commissioning under real load.

Synchronisation & multi-set systems

Two or more sets in parallel, with load sharing and staged starting for larger or growth-stage loads.

ATS & control panels

Automatic transfer switches, AMF panels and mains-changeover control, so the transfer happens without anyone present.

Acoustic canopies & enclosures

Weatherproof and sound-attenuated enclosures where noise limits or an exposed location require them.

Servicing & AMC

Scheduled servicing, oil and filter changes, load-bank testing, breakdown call-out and annual maintenance contracts.

Genuine spare parts

Filters, belts, injectors, alternators, AVRs, controllers and consumables — stocked locally for the brands we supply.

What's included in the package

A generator from us is delivered as six things. If a supplier gives you only the set and an invoice, everything that follows is your problem.

01 · Load survey & sizing report

Your connected load, starting characteristics and step-load profile assessed on site — with a written recommendation on kVA rating and why. Not a size read off your sanctioned load.

02 · The set, with full documentation

Engine and alternator make, model and serial, rating basis, test certificate and manuals — so you know precisely what you have bought and can order the right parts against it years later.

03 · Installation & site works coordination

Plant-room layout, foundation and anti-vibration mounting, exhaust routing, ventilation and cooling, fuel storage and day tank, cabling and earthing — coordinated with your electrical installation, not left at the door.

04 · Control & changeover integration

ATS, AMF or manual changeover integrated with your distribution, and tested against a real mains failure rather than a simulated one.

05 · Commissioning under load, witnessed

The set run up and proven at load — voltage, frequency, temperature, transfer timing and step response demonstrated with you present, and the results recorded.

06 · Handover, training & service schedule

Operator training, O&M manuals, a service schedule with intervals, and the parts list for routine consumables so nothing has to be guessed at later.

Method

How we deliver it

Local context

Standby power in Bangladesh

A generator here works harder than the same set would almost anywhere else, in conditions that are harder on it. Four factors shape how we size, specify and service every installation.

Grid reliability and load shedding

For most industrial and commercial users here, standby power is not an emergency provision — it is part of normal operations. Sets run far more hours per year than their equivalents in stable-grid markets, which pushes servicing intervals, consumable consumption and parts availability from a footnote to the main decision.

Fuel quality and contamination

Diesel quality and storage contamination — water, particulates and microbial growth in tanks — are a leading cause of injector and pump failure locally. Filtration, tank design and fuel management are part of how we specify a system, not an afterthought.

Heat, humidity and dust

Ambient temperature and humidity derate a generator's output against its nameplate rating, and airborne dust and lint — particularly in textile plants — shorten filter and radiator service intervals sharply. Both are accounted for at sizing.

Approvals and emissions

Generator installation may require [approval or notification to the relevant utility and environmental authorities — CONFIRM which apply], along with compliance on noise and exhaust emission limits. [State plainly whether you handle these submissions.]

Standards and ratings

Rating basis: ISO 8528 — standby (ESP), prime (PRP) and continuous (COP) ratings. Always compare quotations on the same rating basis; a “500 kVA” standby set and a “500 kVA” prime set are not the same machine.

Engine & alternator: [ISO 3046 · IEC 60034 · relevant emission standards]

Installation & electrical: [BNBC electrical provisions, EDITION] · [IEC 60364 / relevant wiring regulations] · [utility interconnection and changeover requirements]

Environmental: [DoE noise and emission limits where applicable]

Brands we supply

[List the engine, alternator and controller brands you supply — and state clearly which you are an authorised dealer or distributor for, versus which you supply as a trader.]

This is the highest-value block on the page. Brand searches are the strongest commercial keywords in this category, and “authorised dealer” is both a trust signal and a checkable claim. List only what is true — a brand you cannot support after the sale will cost you more in reputation than it earns in enquiries.

Servicing, AMC & genuine spare parts

A distinct engagement, and the one that decides whether your set starts in year five. We service generators — including sets we did not supply — under annual maintenance contracts or on call. Scheduled servicing, genuine consumables, load-bank testing, fault diagnosis and breakdown response, with every visit documented so the set’s history follows the machine rather than living in someone’s memory.

Installation assumes the plant room, foundation and incoming cabling are ready. The most common cause of delay is neither the set nor the electrical work — it is a plant room without adequate ventilation or exhaust provision, which is why we survey it before delivery rather than after.

Common questions

Price is driven by kVA rating, brand, whether the set is canopied and whether it is standby or prime rated — and by the ATS, cabling and plant-room works, which buyers often forget when comparing quotes. [State your quotation basis and, if you can, an indicative range by kVA band. This is the single most-searched question in this category.]

Sized on your connected load, the starting current of your largest motors and how loads come on in steps — not on your sanctioned load or floor area. We survey the site and give you a written sizing recommendation, including why a particular rating rather than the next size up.

No, and this is where a lot of money is wasted. A diesel running lightly loaded for long periods wet stacks and carbons up, which shortens engine life and increases servicing. You pay for oversizing twice. We size for your load with a sensible margin, and explain the margin.

[List brands and state your dealership position plainly. Buyers ask this first because it determines parts availability and warranty support.]

[Confirm which consumables and parts you hold in stock, and for which brands. Local stock is the single strongest differentiator in this market — say so specifically if you have it.]

[State your actual response commitment and the areas it covers. Do not publish a number you cannot meet at 2am on a Friday — a missed response promise costs more than a vague one.]

Yes. We start with a condition assessment — compression, fuel system, alternator, controller and service history — and give you a written position on what needs doing now, what can wait, and what is no longer economic to repair.

[State the manufacturer warranty period and hours, what it covers, and what you provide directly as the supplier. Be precise — warranty ambiguity is a common source of disputes in this trade.]

Tell us what you need to keep running.

Send us your connected load, or just your machine list and building type. We’ll size the set, tell you what the installation involves, what it costs to buy and what it costs to run — and if a smaller set will do the job, we’ll tell you that too.
